Age Group U12 - U14
The U12 - U14 age group is for children who are 10 to 13 years old as of January 1st of the current year.
The U12 - U14 games are played at the Colonel Irvine School field.
Games are generally 11 vs. 11, depending on team sizes and are played using the full soccer field. The one hour time slots are typically broken into two components: approximately 5 -10 minute warmup practice then a 50 - 55 minute game.
The goal is to ensure that each player has fun and roughly equal playing time; translated into equal opportunity to touch the ball in a game setting and a minimum of time waiting on the sidelines. The games are refereed and time is stopped for substitutions.
