Overview

The Calgary District Lacrosse Association (CDLA) offers a number of lacrosse programs for players aged 4-16.  As such, the CDLA is responsible for the administration of 'minor' box lacrosse in Calgary. 

Major box lacrosse, for players aged 17-21, is the responsibility of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (www.rockymountainlax.com). 

Another discipline of lacrosse is 'field lacrosse'.  Field lacrosse in Calgary is administered by Calgary Field Lacrosse (www.calgaryfieldlacrosse.com).  The field lacrosse season is from July to October.

The CDLA minor box lacrosse season runs annually from April to provincials which are in mid July.  CDLA Clubs hold their player evaluations and team selection from late March to the end of April.  The regular season then begins at the end of April or early May and continues to mid June.  From mid June to the end of June is city playoffs.
